7-day dispute window
After you complete the service, the money is held for 7 days in your pending wallet. If nobody opens a dispute, it is released to your withdrawable wallet. It protects you (no false claims a month later) and the client (who can report genuine issues within a reasonable time).

Live walk GPS
The owner sees the route on the map while you walk: real route, distance and duration. When you finish they get the walk summary. Zero 'where are you?' calls and objective proof you did your job if anyone opens a dispute.
Digital pet passport
Before you grab the leash you see what matters: allergies, medication and dosage, neutering, fears and the regular vet's contact. It's Wallapets' portable universal medical history, not loose notes from the owner in a chat.
Paw reviews and reputation
Every completed service leaves a paw rating. That reputation is yours, lives inside Wallapets and lifts you in local searches. The more clean walks, the higher you appear and the more bookings come in.
WallaID collar in case of an escape (coming soon)
We're preparing the WallaID collar with NFC: if the dog gets loose and someone finds it, just tapping a phone to the collar will alert the owner instantly. You'll act as the contact person during the walk, without sharing your personal phone.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be registered as self-employed?+
Yes, to invoice your services legally in Spain. If you're not yet registered, we can recommend an agency specialised in self-employment (€15-30/month). Registering with the tax office (Hacienda) is free and registering with RETA has discounts for new self-employed workers.
Do I need civil liability insurance?+
Yes, it's mandatory. Law 7/2023 requires it for professional walkers. Pet-specific policies from €80-150/year (Caser, Línea Directa, specialised brokers). We verify it at sign-up.
Do I have to take every booking I receive?+
No. You have 24h to accept or reject each booking. Only bookings within your availability and area appear. If you reject often, your ranking drops (logically).
How does Wallapets protect me from problem clients?+
All clients go through account verification. Every booking's history is recorded. If you have a genuine incident, open a dispute and the Wallapets team mediates. A client with repeated complaints = automatic ban.
Can I work with clients outside Wallapets?+
Of course. Wallapets doesn't require exclusivity. You can have your own clients + Wallapets + Rover if you want. We only take commission on bookings that come in via Wallapets.
What happens to availability when I'm on holiday?+
You block the dates from your dashboard. During that time you receive no requests. If you have a confirmed booking that clashes with your holiday (by mistake or change), we notify the client 48h in advance and reassign or cancel with no penalty.
How long does initial verification take?+
24-72 business hours. We review: ID, a photo of your face, a valid liability policy, and (if applicable) professional certificates. If something is missing, we write to you detailing what to fix.
Does Wallapets charge the client or do I?+
Wallapets charges the client via Stripe Connect. You never handle money. 85% is credited to your wallet after 7 days with no dispute. Withdraw to your IBAN whenever you want (minimum €30, no extra fee).
And if I want to leave?+
You deactivate your profile from the dashboard and disappear from the directory. You withdraw your pending balance. There's no lock-in or penalty. Reactivate whenever you want.
