Treatment

LIFE-THREATENING EMERGENCY: requires immediate veterinary care with intensive fluid therapy, oxygen and treatment of the underlying cause. On the way: keep the animal warm and calm.

Prevention

Prevent and promptly treat the causes: haemorrhage, dehydration, heatstroke, allergic reactions.
