A mix of small seeds and millet for doves/pigeons, with grit, cuttlebone and a little vegetable matter. Fresh clean water daily, essential to prevent trichomoniasis.

It needs no grooming; it enjoys shallow water baths. Keep the cage clean and fitted with suitable perches.
🎓 Training
A very calm and gentle bird, ideal for watching rather than handling. With patience it can get used to human presence, but it is not 'tamed' to perform.

Low energy: it is placid and content with a spacious cage in which to move and an environment free of startles. Best kept as a pair.
