A quality exotic finch seed mix (millets, canary seed, panicum) with vegetables, rearing food and vitamin and calcium supplements, especially important during the delicate moult. Cuttlebone. Clean water daily.

A bath available regularly. The essential thing is the environment: a constant warm temperature and absence of draughts for this delicate bird.
🎓 Training
An exhibition bird valued for its colouring, not a hands-on bird. It does not tame; handle it as little as possible and with care. More demanding than other exotic finches because of its fragility.
🏃 Exercise
Flight in a spacious cage or heated aviary. Moderate activity; thrives in a pair or group.
