🍽️ Nutrition
A base of quality pellets for conures, supplemented daily with varied fruit and vegetables and a little seed as a treat. Avoid a seed-only diet (fatty liver, vitamin A deficiency).
✂️ Grooming
Frequent bathing or showering, nail and beak checks; plumage inspection. Feather plucking is usually due to a lack of stimulation, not grooming.
🎓 Training
Very intelligent and manageable: it accepts positive-reinforcement training (recall, tricks, 'step up') and can learn the odd word. Needs daily socialisation.
🏃 Exercise
A spacious cage plus 1-3 hours of daily flight and play outside it; plenty of toys to chew and solve. It is an active and demanding bird.
